The Company - CENTURY 21 Foote-Ryan's Plattsburgh team of Sales Agents and Associate Brokers and Broker’s is led by Broker/Owner George Barnett, Jr.

Our History - CENTURY 21 Foote-Ryan is an independent real estate office that has served the North Country for nearly a half century under the leadership of the Barnett Family.

 

CENTURY 21 Foote-Ryan, originally named Norm Foote Real Estate, was founded in the 1960’s by Norm Foote and Frederick Culley. George Barnett, Sr. joined the company in 1979, soon to be followed by Roy Perry in the early 1970’s. Upon the retirement of Norm Foote and Fred Culley, Barnett and Perry assumed the leadership roles of the company. In an effort to provide the highest quality service available in the industry Norm Foote Real Estate joined the CENTURY 21® System in 1984 and has been associated ever since. In the mid 1980’s CENTURY 21 Norm Foote purchased Ryan Realty and the two firms merged shortly thereafter at which time CENTURY 21 Foote-Ryan came into being. Through the years the company has received countless sales awards, including the prestigious Quality Service award, awarded in 2004 to Pat Holcombe, Donald Plympton, Marion Bourdeau and Mary Frenyea; and to Michelle Santor, Mary Frenyea, Marion Bourdeau and Scott Campbell in 2005. This is one of the highest awards within the CENTURY 21® System and in 2005 it was awarded to the CENTURY 21 Foote-Ryan office. In 2005, they received the Gold Medallion award and were recognized as the #1 Supporter of Easter Seals in the region!

George Barnett, Jr., took over the helm of the operation from his father in 1996. With the support of the CENTURY 21® System, he is proud to offer the finest real estate training and tools available to his professional sales agents.

With the desire to continue the legacy with his company and in the community, George Jr., is positioning the company to continue to respond to the changing needs of today’s real estate consumers. The CENTURY 21® System has enabled his office to keep up with the ever-changing real estate trends both nationally and locally.
